dear bill,

i gave carlos [Feliciano, the MIRA bomber who was in the Tombs with Sam]5 your address for advice. his wife & family have been very harrassed by authorities apparently with his lawyer’s knowledge.6 his lawyer did not accompany carlos’ wife to an 8-hour interrogation tho he knew in advance. he was to get some strong lawyers from Puerto Rico but nothing came of it. please help him.

i got the papers [newspapers] for 3 days after you spoke to cunningham7 but they’ve stopped again. must give him another call and remind him.

i’ve not been able to see wood [the Weatherman].8

i was told sentencing was set for 19th in the state. you say 16th, which?
